Behaviour Model
Main Focus: To change the behaviour of the learner; to transmit culture by teaching skills and knowledge
all behaviors are learned through interaction with the environment. This learning theory states that behaviors are learned from the environment, and says that innate or inherited factors have very little influence on behavior.
Students are a passive participant in behavioral learning—teachers are giving them the information as an element of stimulus-response.
Personal Model
Main Focus: To increase the students’ sense of self-worth; to help students understand themselves more fully; to help students recognize their emotions and become more aware of the way emotions affect other aspects of their behaviour; to help them develop goals for learning; to help students develop plans for increasing their competence ; to increase the students’ creativity and playfulness and to increase the students’ openness to new experience.

Non-directive Teaching Model• Based on Carl Rogers’ work, he believes that positive human relationships enable people to grow.• Therefore instruction should be based on concepts of human relations.
The Importance of Non-directive Teaching Model• Teacher helps students to explore new ideas.• Students have freedom to making decisions and choices.• Teacher and students are partners in learning.• Nurtures and moulds students to be the way they are.• Encourages students to think and reflect their uncertain feelings and become better and be positive.
Developing Positive Self-concepts• Appreciate the abilities and talents one possesses.• Positive self-concepts evolves with the moral values that should be emphasised among students.• Activities that help: Group/Individual Presentation, musical performances, stage performances.
Social Model
Main Focus: To help students work together to identify and solve problems; to develop skills in human relations,: to become aware of personal and social values
Model of Group Teaching & Co-operative Learning• Simulation Model –Sociodrama –Role play
Uses group inquiry and problem-solving strategies. Encourages assimilation and Relies on the students’ understanding of the personal and social learners values
Ways of Teaching: group teaching and cooperative, simulation learning, informal, formal study, roleplay, sociodrama
ROLE-PLAY Emphasize the social Role-playing is a teaching nature of learning strategy that fits within the social family models stimulate students bothsocially and intellectually -Joyce and Weil, 2000- Improves interpersonal skills and enhances communication
ROLE-PLAYFOUR STAGES 1. Preparation and explanation of the activity by the teacher 2. Student preparation of the activity 3. The role-playing 4. The discussion after the role-playing activities
