(by Group 6)
Function models are used to identify the problems locatated in the main idea, by using a function model, it is easier to identify and fix the problem.
The interaction analysis is the determination of all possible interactions between the engineering system and the super system.
Each function model have different interactions between the engineering system and super system, where it clearly indicates the effect of that system to another. The function model is a mind map of the overall system.
Super System is any component that is outside of the component of the system. The special element of the super system is called as a system product and the system acts directly on it to modify it.
There are 4️⃣ types of arrows used in function model to indicate the type of interaction.
🔸Straight arrow to indicate that it is sufficient useful
🔸A bolded straight arrow to indicate it is excessive useful
🔸A swirly arrow to indicate that it is harmful
🔸A dash arrow to indicate that it is a flawed useful
