Making choices: The couple was having a hard time, especially the girl deciding wether to have the operation or not and for the man if she decided to have it things will be nice again

Imaginative: when she told the American that the hills looked like white elephants.

Plot
Beggining
They were at the train station, outside a bar and ordered some drinks, and the man started talking about a operation the girl could have and that afterward, they would be happy again.
End
The man carried their bags to the other side of the station. He stoped inside the bar on his way back and had another drink. He went outside and asked the woman if she felt better.
Climax
When the American tried to convince her, she threatened him saying that she was going to scream and that she did not want the operation.
