- Wrong template used? If yes, email the author, set the original article in KM3 status, put your note into Updates and ideally copy of email; wait for the author to respond within 1 week, then send a reminder for 2nd week, then retire if no response so far (reflect vacations)
- Categorization/Flags - check whether appropriate products or versions (when applicable) included
- Check Title - is it appropriate for the subject of the article?
- Check Summary - this helps the reader's attention to consider whether he or she would open the article or not

- When needed, use Grammar check.
- Avoid private data usage in articles, check the Privacy Filter Override only when necessary and private data generalized. Use either <IP_address> or n.n.n.n.
- When Retiring an article always unlink another linked articles.
- As Security Level, use Customer Entitled, not Public.
- Always do your best to reach the broader audience, think of turning an Internal article into a Customer Enttiled one, while respecting the security when using the article. Possibly move the Internal part to Internal Response, but keep in mind, that Internal Response is not indexed and hence searchable. This is valid also for Technical Reviewers and Authors.
