ใน definition paragraph จะมี

1.ใน Topic sentence สามารถเอาใน dictionary มาอ้างอิงได้เเต่จะต้องใส่ quotation marks ตรงข้อความที่ไม่ได้เขียนเอง เอาของคนอื่นมา

เป็นการลอกคำพูดอื่นมาเเบบไม่เปลี่ยนเป็นคำพูดคำตัวเองถือเป็นความิดร้ายเเรงในบางมหาลัยอาจจะไล่ออก

การจะนำคำพูดของคนอื่นมาใช้ได้จำเป็นใส่เครื่องหมาย quotation marks ตรงที่เอามาเเต่ถ้าเปลี่ยนคำพูดเขาเกือบหมดเเต่ยังเก็บไอเดียเอาไว้ก็ไม่จำเป็นต้องใส่ quotation marks

การนำมาใช้

ในการเอาไอเดียคนอื่นมาต้องมีการอ้างอิง เช่น Smith: 1999 หรือบางที่จะเป็นหน้า เเต่ละที่จะมีการอ้างอิงที่เเตกต่างกันออกไป อาจจะมีการอ้างอิงที่งานหรือที่บรรณานุกรม
