Assimilation
Definition: How sounds modify each other when they meet

Linking
Definition: Words that join together and sound like one long word.
Consonant +vowel (When one word ends with a consonant sound and the next word begins with a vowel sound)

Consonant + consonant (When one word ends with a consonant sound and the next word begins with a consonant sound)

Ellision
Definition: Omitting one or more sounds from a word or phrase
t & d ellision: When t or d comes between two consonants at the end of a syllable, it gets elided.
