Free speech movement at the U. of Cali. in Berkeley known as the Free Speech movement critiqued the status of the school and society.
The people's park which was planned to be a parking area was flamed by many who didn't like that and thought they were oppressing them.
Indians were forced to assimilate or be terminated and put into white societies. They didn't really like that and it made their influence weaker in the world, but it caused to them to fight against being oppressed.
