Periodization of History
Investigators have sought answers to doubts about the origin of the human species. This is how a series of theories that respond to these unknowns have emerged. These have been grouped into two theoretical currents: creationist and evolutionary. Creationist theories are based on religious doctrines. According to these doctrines, the Earth and each one of the living beings that inhabit it. They come from the creation of one or more gods. Besides, these theories study from the indigenous legends of the people to structured religions such as Catholicism, Hinduism, or Islam.
Evolutionary theories
These theories suggest that evolution is the process by which a species changes from generation to generation.

The theory of evolution also explains that on our planet there was a time when there was no life because there was not enough oxygen. It was about 3 billion years ago that the first living beings appeared in the sea. They were simple bacteria and fungi that fed on carbon dioxide and released oxygen. Millions of years passed, and some unicellular beings evolved into multicellular beings. Approximately 700 million years, fish and plants developed on the surface of the Earth. Then amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals appeared.
