Boston tea party
In 1773 Britain passed a law that allowed a British company to sell tea more cheaply than colonial merchants. For protest colonist boardered a britain ship and they threw all of the tea in the sea
Intolerable acts
The British governament then passed a laws that were even stricter. The colonist called them the Intolerable Acts
Continental Congress
The representatives asked Britain to cancel the
Intolerable Acts. The British government answered by
sending even more military troops.
