In Mumbai the Governemnt planned to sell cheap land and let the new owners build better buildings for people to live in
In the past many countries would learn new things and then start new buildings and most importantly factories which increased production rate to be sold
Countries would also start empires in the past to gain lots of natural resources and in return start helping them build.
My opinions
I think development is important because it helps people to live a good life without having to worry about anything that could happen to you

I also think that if richer countries help poorer countries than it will also help them as it would be a new ally and partner
