Slums are a place were people live and work, it contains filthily water, poor wages and dangerous work space.
Some countries are poor and don't have a lot of money were as some have a lot of money and a good government.
These areas are not well developed as other countries I can tell this because, their are not internet station and not high class buildings.

Parts of Africa, Asia and South America have the lowest amount of money. Where as the UK, Australia, North America and Europe have the most amount of money.

Sweet shops are often unhygienic and are not safe for the worker, sweat shops often are not safe with fire exists and they allow young children to work in the even of they are to young to.
Nigeria is not a very wealthy country and the only well devolved bits are round the capital and the manager cities.
India is neither a very wealthy country either but is well developed in some areas but has the worst child labor number in the world.

River can be life for people that live In undeveloped and slum areas because they rely on the waters to drink, to send thing to people, to clean and to do washing.
