Coordination and Response

Different Types of Receptors
The Eyes
Pupil Response -
When dark - the pupil becomes larger and more dilated to let in more light.
When bright - the pupil becomes a little bit smaller as to not let in too much light to see clearly
Lens Accommodation
When the lens is focused on near objects - The lens becomes thin, the ciliary muscle contracts, and the ligaments become slack. This is done to reflect more more light.
When the less is focused on farther objects - The lens become fat, the ciliary muscle becomes relaxed, and the ligaments remain taut. This is done to reflect less light.
Temperature Regulation
When too hot - Hairs lay flat to avoid trapping air, capillaries relax to let blood cool, sweat evaporates from the skin, which evaporates and cools the body.
When too cold - Hairs rise to trap water, capillaries in the skin constrict to not let as much blood flow through them.
Osmoregulation - The kidney is used for osmoregulation
Sensory Neuron
Relay Neuron
Motor Neurone

Response
Tropism
Geo
Positive Geotropism - the plant growing up and against gravity Negative Geotropism - the plant growing with gravity (e.g roots in the ground)
Photo
Auxins diffuse to the top of the plant, and then make the plant grow more towards the light.
