Play devils advocate, what opposing view could be expressed?
- Davies, insisted the story he told 60 minutes was not only accurate, it was the same story he told the F.B.I. when they interviewed him. 60 Minutes learned that, in fact, the F.B.I. report was different from what he told them. Why were Davies stories different?
- Who truly are the "good" guys in this case?
- It makes me wonder if Davies was working for or affiliated with the "bad" guys.
What is your opinion about the issue, and what caused you to form that opinion?
- Davies is hiding something. If not, why are there two different sides to his story.
- I don't believe either story is true. I believe Davies played a different roll that night. He told the F.B.I one thing and 60 minutes another. Why?
- He was tripping over his words drastically. Clearly, nothing but lies.
How could using a balance in research and reporting tactics have made a difference in the outcome of what was reported?
- A key witness(s). Individuals that could have vouched for his story.
- Any sort of supporting evidence; paper trail, watch logs, video surveillance, etc.
- Tell the same story. Pretty easy to do so, if its the truth.
