cookies
The cookie, also used as a computer cookie, is a term that refers to small information sent by a website and stored in the user's browser, so that the website can consult the previous activity of the browser.
Its main functions are:
Remember accesses: know if the page has already been visited to act accordingly, for example showing or not certain content, remembering a user, etc.
When a user enters their username and password, a cookie is stored so that they do not have to be entering them for each page of the server.
However, a cookie does not identify a person, but rather a combination of the computer-browser-user class. This means that the person who creates the account cannot present themselves with this account and be recognized.
