In the 1400s CE ,the Ottomans began to take over lots of land in the Middle east.
At this time, some of the best colleges and libraries in the world were in the areas that ottomans conquered.

They used new experiments, discuss new ideas and finds new ways of doing things

Many scholars in the middle east decided to move away. The people who moved were some of the world's best writers musicians, astronomers, architects, artists, scientist & mathematicians.
