There are many different types of animals that you can find in grasslands: herbivores, carnivores, mammals and insects. During the wet season, the grasslands offer plenty of food for huge herds of animals as water holes and rain appears. The grassland region supports both herbivores and carnivores, with tropical animals like lions, jaguars, cheetahs, leopards, wild dogs, hyenas and jackals. And carnivores found in grasslands include animals like Giraffes, zebras, elephants, deer, buffalos and birds.
