The most important Holy Days are the EASTER celebration. This is when Christians remember that Christ died for their sins and celebrate his resurrection (him coming back to life). They believe Jesus fasted in the desert mountains for 40 days before returning to civilisation. However, 1 week later he was executed.

People who work in the church
Do
Christians worship in a church, but can pray anywhere. They pray for forgiveness and guidance, and sing to praise God.
Their holy day is Sunday when they do not work, only worship God.
They follow the 10 commandments
Celebrate Christmas, like every other human on the planet
Many Christians worship by praying in their home. Sometimes at meal time, or before sleep. Some at particular times of the day.
Some may have a crucifix, or images of Jesus and the Saints in their home.
To show your commitment you are BAPTISED. Many Christians have their children baptised soon after birth.
Some also confirm their commitment with a CONFIRMATION ceremony at around the age of 12.
During worship they can show their commitment by participating in Communion where bread that has been blessed by a priest is shared by committed Christians who are worshipping.
In the 40 days before Easter, they give up something that they value, just as Jesus fasted having no food for 40 days. Some give up a favourite food, pray, perform acts of charity. This is called LENT.
