Water bodies
When there are water bodies near the land, there are more chances of precipitation, hence making the weather of a place cooler. However, in places like the Middle East, the location is so unusual that despite the scorching sun and an abundance of water bodies, it rarely rains.
Latitude and Longitude of the area
Depending on the tilt of the Earth, the climate in the northern and southern hemispheres would differ, but they would be having a substantial effect of the climate.
Altitude of the place
Higher the altitude, thinner the air, and more the air pressure, making it colder in those areas.
Land mass
Land gets heated up fairly quickly and cools down quicker than water does. Henceforth, it does have a substantial impact on the temperature of a place.
Air pressure is affecting by the latitude and longitude of the place. Higher the altitude, more the air pressure, hence making it colder in high altitudes. This is because the pressure exerted by Earth is higher near the areas which are closer to the outside of the Earth and as you come down, the pressure diffuses, hence making it hotter towards the bottom. -Joshika
