What causes an Epidemic.
Infected food and or water gets infected a number of the people will start getting sick.
Natural disasters can also kill out your water supplies and make it contaminated and can kill you almost.
Increased virulence will also kill people because it mutates and it will be a new strand of something that we have never seen before.
Lower world countries will die off because they will not have the medicine.
New diseases and food and water can get contaminated and things can kill you.

Airborne things can get airborne by coughing and sneezing and other things and stuff like that.
Insects would carry the viruses and all the things would spread fast.

How do epidemics end?
Seasonal changes some viruses and diseases can't stand the cold or either the heat for it, it might die off.
Fewer hosts it finds the weakest people and the most susceptible people and the older people will get sick first.
