BEHAVIOURS TO UNLEASH CREATIVITY, from the SURGE workshop: these behaviours can be very beneficial to educators as they can learn to take take time to think, add "freshness" to their day by looking for new inspiration, remember to be playful and to create a playful atmosphere for children, always follow your intuition, to practice signaling through verbal and non-verbal ways, nurture your curiosity with children and ways of teaching and learning, and finally, by always nurturing new learning by looking for ways to enrich those ways with new information and methods to practice!
As Educators, we can use the information from the SURGE workshop by adding new "fresh" experiences to children's days and experiences that help to ENGAGE the children in "creative problem solving and more complex play and inquiry" (Ontario Ministry of Education, 2014c, p. 35)
