Part 2 Flip book
Part 1, Planning.
Aim of the the Assessment.
Unpack in Coggle, create a timeline for the project, Gather 4 examples of flip books and stop motion animation to draw inspiration from *use multiple sources. write an explanation about each of the researched pieces. Brainstorm ideas and concepts for your flipbook/ stop motion animation, explain your thought process. Write a proposal for all three of your animations including: the type of background, what the object will be, how the object will be animated. discuss with he teacher if your 3 selections are appropriate and achievable

Post 3 ideas to connect discussion bard and receive feedback from at least 3 different people on which idea should be used. select your final idea from the feedback provided. explain what the procedure is for checking copy right clearance.
Once you have selected an idea, draw your proposed animation on individual pages (frame by frame) to make your flipbook. The pages will be 12cm x 8cms. This is the storyboard for the animation idea. experiment with what the photos are going to look like, thinking of framing, lighting and composition. Animation should consist of a minimum of 30 images and a maximum of 60, get feedback from 3 people about your flipbook story line in preparation for your photo shoot. plan your photoshoot, when where, what equipment and props are needed. pre-empt any possible problems and find solutions for them.
Part 3, Photo Shoot
Capture the background you have selected. Using your background and props, photograph your stop motion. Transfer and store the photos into the appropriate area. Review photos using Adobe bridge, to make sure they meet the brie, rename and apply metadata.
Part 4, Animation
Technical specifications. Size: Drawn Flip book –12cm x 8cm

Naming convention
Resize the images using photoshop, 1920px wide, 72dpi, RG. Explain the procedure to resize images, to the correct size. Make and document and adjustments made to each photo. create contact sheets to show your final edited images. Use photoshop to crate your final stop motion animation. export animation as a .mp4 file. get feedback from 3 people about your animation.
