It is important to monitor vitals to see how the patient is doing on prescribed meds or other interventions that have been done
Monitor intake and output
(reduced cardiac output reduces perfusion of the kidneys which results in decrease in urine output)
Provide Oxygen if needed
The diseased heart may not be able to keep up with the increased oxygen demands

To determine how advanced to heart condition is or if the kidneys have been effected
