Greatest Weakness
Being too critical of myself / Self Doubt , however I am working on this through meditation, positive self-talk, self-care, and acknowledging my accomplishments.
Taking on too much of the work in group projects, however I am working on deligating the responsbility to all the team members. I'm becoming more confident in creating healthy boundaries and a work life balance.
Relavant OT Experience
Observation at ECMC in outpatient Neuro-rehab unit, have since remained in contact with an OT there. Observed many patients with strokes, TBI, hand conditions.
Level 1 FW over the summer
Interview skills, interpersonal skills, program development for adults with rheumatoid arthritis, simulations of program
Level 1 FW over the fall
Jericho assignment: telehealth with client from community center, created home exercise program, dealt with tech issures , SIMUCASE, IPE lab in simulation center with PT student
Level 1 Fw SPring
UB Pediatric Dental Students- running Zoom discussion groups with students to answer questions about OT techniques in dental settings.
Level II FW with NYSTOA
Starts end of March, virtual, adminstrative, policy, advocating, research, networking, projects
Each project is taken on like a client, following the process of evaluating, assessing, planning the intervention, etc.
