Discuss with coteacher or assistant if they are seeing similar things
If yes, Make a plan for the teacher closest to the parent to contact them about what we are observing in class.

Contact administration about the concern, and the parent response.
Make adjustments or accommodations in the classroom as able to support the student.
Revisit the initial goal/IEP and evaluate if we need to adjust, continue the current route, or if student has made sufficient gains in the area to discontinue the goal and they are ready to mainstream in the area.
Parent agrees to support, or sees similar issues at home.
Have specific ways we are supporting in the classroom, and communicate what we are doing. Show parent data updates for adjustments if needed.
Continue to keep administration in the loop about goals being met, negative and positive changes, or any other relevent information.
