5 students who appear to have limited knowledge about the topic.
For this group, I will specifically create and work in small groups with these students. We will have additional mini-lessons to go over the lesson content again. Another consideration is to introduce the topic to these students in advance.
I will work through their ELE booklets, provide more visual aids, and play engaging games to boost learning together.
This group may also not be able to identify the alphabet letters, letter sounds, vowels, or be able to blend sounds. Additional sound charts will be needed, practice sheets, and games.

Progress Tracking:
Informal check-ins with student, take observational notes on progress, and check in with the learning specialist team (if you have one on staff) to design an IEP and monitor progress.
