VINTAGE CLOTHING RESELL
TRYING NEW THINGS
I often seek out new and different things to try.
I agree with this statement because I tend to want to change routines every now and then just to see if they would be beneficial to my business.
I feel as if it is important to switch things up every so often because if not, then things will start to become repetitive and eventually customers won't be interested anymore.
The discomfort of doing something new or different is just part of the learning process.
With a statement like this, I neither agree or disagree. I feel as if the discomfort all depends on the person because there are people like myself who are eager to try something different or new.
I am comfortable with a bit of ambiguity.
I slightly agree with this statement because as I stated below, becoming repetitive can take a toll on not only your customers, but your business as well. That is why I believe having that ambiguity of being open to new opportunities is an important part of having a successful business.
ABILITY
I am realistic about my ability to handle risk.
I agree with this statement because whenever I consider a risky decision for my business, I immediately think about what could go wrong and how I would fix it.
Thinking about the negatives of a risky decision would help me recover faster and more efficient rather than hoping for a positive outcome on a decision I have no backup plan on.
I believe in myself and my ability to tackle new challenges.
I strongly agree with this statement because challenges will always be apart of the process as an entrepreneur and having that determination and discipline to overcome those challenges is something I take very seriously.
FINDING SOLUTIONS
I enjoy the challenge of finding a solution when I run into a problem.
I strongly agree with this statement because problem solving is something I pay close attention to as an entrepreneur and whenever an issue occurs, I always make sure to think about how resolving the issue will help benefit my business, which also helps with the relief of stress that a problem can bring you.
I can roll with the punches and find a way to succeed.
I agree with this concept because giving up is not on my agenda and once in a while I have to deal with the punches that may be thrown at me. I believe its all about finding ways to "dodge these punches" and make sure I never come into contact with them again, so that I can continue thriving as a successful business.
ASKING FOR HELP & ACKNOWLEDGING CONSEQUENCES
It is not hard for me to ask for help or guidance from others.
I agree with this statement because although I have the upmost confidence in myself when it comes to problem solving, if I am stuck or have run into a barrier, I will most definelty reach out to experienced individuals who will help me overcome my issues.
Not only will I reach out for help, but I will also reach out for guidance as well. I firmly believe that having a mentor is essential and that receiving insight from someone who has been in the same position as you can be helpful from preventing further mistakes.
I understand there may be consequences if something goes wrong.
I agree with this statement because I think its important to realize what and where my business decisions may lead me to. If those decision lead to consequences, then I make it my best interest to keep moving forward and make sure I never experience that consequence again.
