      - For example humans were (starting with kingodom): Animalia, Chordata, Mammalia, Primates, Hominidae, Homo, Sapiens
      - Because using all 7 names would have created too long a name Linnaeus suggested using the Binomial naming system. This is where you use the Genus and Species ie Homo-sapiens
- - - - All organisms that have Eukaryotic cells. This includes plants, fungi, protists and other animals
    - - These are all the single celled Prokaryotic organisms
    - - We used to think that these were the same as Bacteria, but have found they are not. These are also Prokaryote cells and they are found in hot springs, salt lakes and similar extreme environments.
