Corruption is the action and effect of corrupting, that is, it is the process of deliberately breaking the order of the system, both ethically and functionally, for personal gain.
Refers, in the first instance, to something that has been spoiled, which goes into a state of decay or perversion, altering the basic properties and becoming much more murky and negative.
