        countries which had been ocuupied by germany eg france belgium poland, should be allowed to choose their own gov after war
        
        eastern europe
        
        agreed that eastern europe would be soviet sphere of influence - this was delib vague

        free elect = sucess for churchill and also for roosevelt pleased that stalin had agreed to free elect in poland
        seemed to be concession from stallin, who was desp that easten europe should not become unfriendly to the ussr
        
        reparations - sucess fir stalin - americans reluct agree that germany should pay some reper for damage they caused in ww2 most of which would go to ussr
        
        however there was no agreement on the reparation amount - they couldnt agree americans wanted reps to be small but soviet lots
