Anorexia nervosa
Defintion
-Is an eating disorder that is often associated with abnormally low body weight or the fear of gaining weight.
-Not really about food but extremely life-threatening emotional problems.
Biomedical treatments
Cyproheptadine is the drug that stimulates appetite and helps relieve depression associated with appetite loss.
2.Zyprexa (Olanzapine) helps people who experience depression in regard to food, their body weight and eating. The drug works by reducing anxiety and obsessive thinking.
