INAI
The National Institute of Transparency, Access to Information and Protection of Personal Data.
Autonomous constitutional body that guarantees compliance with two fundamental rights:
Access to public information.
Guarantees that any authority deliver the public information that you request.
Personal data protection.
Guarantees the proper use of personal data, as well as the exercise and protection of the rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition that everyone has regarding their information.
Mission:
Guarantee in the Mexican State the rights of people to public information.
Protection of their personal data.
Promoting a culture of transparency, accountability and due treatment of personal data to strengthen an inclusive and participatory society.
Vision:
To be an effective and efficient National Institution in the consolidation of a culture of transparency, accountability and due treatment of personal data.
Recognized for guaranteeing compliance and promoting the exercise of the rights of access to information and protection of personal data as a basis for democratic participation and open government.
Goals:
Guarantee optimal compliance with the rights of access to public information and the protection of personal data.
Promote the full exercise of the rights of access to public information and protection of personal data, as well as the transparency and openness of public institutions.
Coordinate the National System of Transparency and Protection of Personal Data, so that the guarantor bodies establish, apply and evaluate actions for access to public information, protection and due treatment of personal data.
Boost organizational performance and promote a results-oriented public service institutional model with a focus on human rights and a gender perspective.
Access to information:
Request access to public information found in documents that they generate, obtain, acquire, transform or keep in their files.
In the generation, publication and delivery of information, it must be guaranteed that it is accessible, reliable, verifiable, truthful, timely and will meet the needs of everyone's right of access to information.
Personal data protection:
Rights of access, rectification, cancellation or opposition of personal data, known as ARCO rights.
Is a very personal right, so only you , as the owner of your personal data or, where appropriate, your representative may request it.
Open government:
It is a scheme for the management and production of public policies aimed at the attention and collaborative solution of public problems based on plural collegiate members.
Transparency and citizen participation converge as basic criteria, seeking to promote an environment of accountability and social innovation.
National transparency system:
Coordination and deliberation.
Organize efforts for cooperation, collaboration, promotion, dissemination and permanent articulation in matters of transparency, access to information and protection of personal data.

Mexico
The National Institute for Transparency, Access to Information and Personal Data Protection (INAI).
Was born in 2003,
It has a total of 696 employees.
Autonomous constitutional body responsible for upholding the right to access to public information.
Upholding the right to protection of personal data held by the public and the private sectors.
IMPI
Mexican Institute of Industrial Property.
