.
These students will work with each other and with the teacher
Innovate differentiation strategies
In class, students will do a number of activities which focus on recognizing and comparing numbers.
Math centers games: ABCya to reinforce their skills
Assessment to tracking Learning progress
: Regular formative assessment to assess for progress. Also, IXL and Seesaw activities, allow me to see their progress.
5 students who appear to have limited knowledge about the topic.
I will work through their worksheet with use of math manipulatives to help explain the concept and allow them physically work using these tools.
2 students who have little to no comprehension of the topic and need to be tested further for special needs.
Work with the teacher on IXL and ABCya. I will first model the games myself and then monitor their play and be there to help them complete their work. If they still cannot make progress I will contact the principal to get support from a specialist to begin the process of creating an individual learning plan.
Additional assessment for tracking:
One-on-one check-ins with learning specialist with individualized assessment ( verbally, with visual cues)
Additional assessment for tracking:
checking IXL and Seesaw progress, 1 on 1 check-in. I will verbally ask students questions to determine if they are on track
IXL and Seesaw activities, and I will choose the level to review the Unit's vocabulary ( fewer, more...) and allow them to see the images and hear the questions so they can make connections easier and use the speech function for learning.
Assessment to track learning and progress:
Visual unit assessments, online games and activities
