Piggy is the vice of reason in the group of kids he often tells Ralph what to work on next (build huts, fire, ...)
like Ralph he has problems with Jack and is often left out because of his weight. when in reality he is on of the brightest in the group

Jack

Jack is someone who needs to feel like he matters to live life. hes almost like the villain in the book
he likes to do things his way or nothing. he often makes the wrong dissensions in stuff but wont open up that he did something wrong. (letting the fire go out and prevent them form being saved)
The boys

The older boys mostly follow jack because they also live in the present rather than thinking about going home
