Power = energy/time
Power is the amount of energy transferred per unit of time. It can be measured in KW/H or Joules or Watts. (Or it could be Kcal for food.)
Work done (J) = force (N) X distance (M)
For example, lifting a book: 2N X 1M = 2J

Waste Products: These usually are energy types that are not intended to be produced. For example
a light-bulb will produce light and a bi product (or waste product) of heat.
Dissipation is when energy is lost when transferring into its final form, for example: when you get extra heat from a lightbulb
