Behaviour
Magnetic Fields will produce a force on magnetic materials in an area. This force will be repulsive or attractive depending on polarity
Motor Effect
When a current carrying wire is placed in a magnetic field, a force will be created with the direction of the force following Fleming's Left Hand Rule
Thumb represents Motor effect, the force applied as a result of the current across the field, Index finger is the direction of North to South magnetic field, and Middle finger represents current flow from neg to pos.

Satellites
-
Geo-Synchronous
A geosynchronous satellite is a satellite in geosynchronous orbit, with an orbital period the same as the Earth's rotation period. Such a satellite returns to the same position in the sky after each day
Geo-Stationary
A geostationary satellite is in orbit around the Earth at an altitude where it orbits at the same rate as the Earth turns. An observer at any place where the satellite is visible will always see it in exactly the same spot in the sky
