6 steps to get students on task
Proximity praise
Instead of focusing people who is doing wrong, give appraises to who is right.
Offer support
Ask for the support /help to the students.
Get close
Move near to students if you find anything wrong.
Students will be aware that teacher knows what's going on
Limited choices
Continuously give them choices it will attract attention of students.
Non verbal signals
Give hand signals to direct the students.
Strengthens the bond between teacher and students.

Give work targets
Split the work in achievable time and give appraises.

WARNING- Calm and clear warning should be given and students will decide what going to be next if they continue behaviour.
ADJUSTMENT- After warning move to chance
In room- Change the seat/ bench.
Out room- Send students of different classroom when less interesting activity is going on.
