Natural Resources
Four regions: Coast, Highlands, Amazonia and Galapagos.
Our country is full of riches. Both in minerals and in diversity of fauna and flora.
It is located on the equatorial line.
In each of the regions there are places to explore.
We have natural reserves, national parks, cities and heritage sites, high Andean
volcanoes, tropical forests, lagoons, rivers and beaches, etc.
The country has large mineral reserves, especially in the Highlands, along the Andes Mountains.
The main minerals are copper, tin, nickel, bauxite, manganese, gold, silver, antimony, lead, zinc, platinum, marble, clay, kaolin, gypsum, granite, sand, titanium, etc.
Ecuador is one of the countries that has oil and exports it.
On the coast we have water as a natural resource.
In the Highlands we have wind as a natural resource and we can take advantage of it thanks to wind systems.
In the Amazon, the natural resource is oil.
