12 Angry Men
What I liked
I liked that everyone felt different about the situation and read into the case differently,

I liked how the not guilty’s answers always had a good point behind them and they were always able to defend their arguments
They were all happy to just render him guilty and go home but once they really started to get into it they gained an interest in trying to find him not guilty.
-
What I learnt
-
That you have to look further than the facts that are placed in front of you and read between the lines
In the end the facts ended up pointing to him being innocent so I learned that in the end if some one doesn’t agree with him being guilty they have to get a full 12 votes.
I learnt that even with information that you believe to be true at first can hold more once you look into it more.

Every member of the jury has to be certain beyond reasonable doubt that the defendant is guilty before they can be convicted.
Favourite bits
When juror 3 was shouting at everyone as they had all changed their vote to not guilty as we got to see that he was acting that way because of his past with his son and we saw how our past can influence our decisions now even if we do not realise it
When juror number eight questions why the men are voting guilty. For they cannot give a concrete answer. Because that scene clearly stated the objectives of each man.
I liked the end since it added a twist I was not expecting to happen. I thought that they would all come to an agreement on either guilty or not. However, in the end there was one for guilty and 11 for not guilty.
