What is it?

Nomenclatures
The IUPAC recommends 3 systems to name both acid oxides and metal oxides, they are the
Stock system, the traditional system and the systematic one:

Systematic Nomenclature:

As above, the generic name of oxide is used, but a numerical prefix must be prepended according to
the number of oxygen atoms carried by the oxide.
