The purpose of the task is to create a new mobile application for Brisbane State High School’s new cafe “The Kiosk” to allow students and staff to order food and drinks from an iPad terminal mounted outside the cafe

Alllows users to decide what they would like to order through various drop downs such as Pickup, Price Range and Dietary
They allow the user to search for food they would like through a search screen with sections such as top categories and more categories. This gives the user options to search for food with categories ranging from countries/cuisines, dietary requirements to even types of specific food

Allows the user to choose a certain cuisine to order on the website. If they cannot see the cuisine they would like they have the option to browse more cuisines
The user can decide certain brands and/or restaurants they would like to order food from with the option for popular cuisines and order it again based off past orders
The top results for the category or cuisine clicked on is displayed to the user not the worst results

Allows users to order on a self serve interface which sends their order to the kitchen with a unique order number to both the kitchen and the user
The user can easily see the price and daily energy intake once they click on the item. They can also customise the item by removing certain items and adding extras as an option

The app will have similar features to other apps as well as layout so less mistakes are made while using the app (Utility)
The app will be able to be used easily by everyone in Brisbane State High School including students and teachers and even people with disabilities (Learnability, Safety)
Layout is simplistic but effective so users can easily identify and get used to the app quickly (Safety, Accessibilty)

Order History can only be viewed by the staff to ensure that the customers feel like they're past orders are secured

The user will be able to see their order in a Cart screen and confirm their order (with no payment details)

The kitchen staff can see the orders coming in and be able to mark it as completed and removing it from the display

The user is able to see the full menu in an organised and logical fashion. The items will be organised from food items, drink items and extras so the user is able to differentiate each individual item without confusion
The user can also place their order on this screen. The user is able to place their order by organising it through price, dietary requirements and food or drink items. This allows for there to be clear categories the user can order by using them

The kitchen is able to see the orders of the user on this screen. The order screen also displays current orders that have not been collected
Once the order is made the kitchen is able to remove that order from the display while on this screen
Cart Screen

Once the user places the order the user can see their final order in this screen to confirm the order and give them a unique order number (but no payment details needed)
