Arts Concept Paper: NeOn Arts
What is the Research Topic?
The topic of the research is all about the Request for proposal (RFP) to lay out NeOn Arts that the Department of Probation (DOP) will be handling. This is to showcase different arts through various creative projects, together with local offices and this is the Neighborhood Opportunity Network (NeOn). With this, the DOP is responsible for seeking qualified and exemplary vendors that will be cooperating with the DOP for them to facilitate the community-based art project that will be held in seven NeOn communities. Inclusively, the research topic is about developing community based art projects.
What are the Research Questions?
What are the possible creative projects that the DOP will facilitate for NeOn Arts?
Who else can participate on the said project aside from vendors?
Where is the community that the said project will be held in particular?
When will the project start?
Why did the DOP decide to create and facilitate the NeOn Arts project?
How are they (DOP) going to seek qualified and exemplary participants?
What are the data that prove or disapprove the hypothesis?
NeON Arts also engages each local NSG and a host of community partners.
Each respective NSG would be central to the development of the community‐based arts projects for NeON Arts.
NeON Arts would support at least one community‐based arts project per year in each of the seven NeON communities.
The said projects would serve to collaboratively support and build capacity in the local community, engaging both DOP clients and community members.
NeON Arts projects would be designed to provide artistic opportunities for participants that address social, emotional, and educational needs while reflecting their complex identities through both familiar and new artistic mediums/genres.
It is anticipated that projects may be related to a variety of disciplines, including dance, music, theater, visual arts, poetry, and digital media and enhancement/support of the NSG and community infrastructure.
DOP started helping to build stronger and safe communities by supervising people on probation, providing interventions and opportunities that foster behavioral change.
What do the analysis, interpretations, and conclusions say about the data?
Overall, DOP is helping to build stronger and safer communities by supervising people on probation, providing interventions and opportunities that foster behavioral change and that lead to a road to success outside of the justice system. These opportunities include meaningful education, employment, health services, family engagement and civic participation.
In conclusion, if people under probation are given the chance to improve their lives, the community that they belong to will be peaceful and productive. The NeOn Arts project is the best way to keep the community prolific and at the same time creative because they will be able to enhance their skills. Their perspective in life will be more positive and interactive. Because of NeOn Arts, people under probation have chances to make their lives better more comfortable as it is.
