Moreover/Furthermore, the internet provides companies with a larger network of employees.
They went from the personal idea to the business idea, but these ideas work together for the overall ideas of this text. They are two reasons to prove one example of the whole text/essay.
What are transitions?
Used to join two ideas together.
This engages in joining ideas as a bridge.
When to use them?
During mid sentences or to join two paragraphs.
Example:
His laziness caused the company to perform badly last quarter. Moreover, his attitude toward the board has put his job in jeopardy.
This example shows that the transition links the two ideas together. They have to make sense with each other in order to join. The word, moreover allows the joining of these ideas by adding to them .
What to do when stuck?
When stuck instead of common transitions you could use transitions such as : "Another reason."
Types of transitions:
Transitions can show:
Similarity, Contrast, Order, Time, Example, Emphasis, Place/Position, Cause and Effect, Additional support/Evidence and a type of Conclusion.
Examples from one of each can be:
