Ernest Rutherford discovered the nucleus and he discovered protons. how he discovered the nucleus is he saw that they had + particles in the center

Erwin stated that electrons move around the nucleus in distinct layers. this is widely accepted around the world today.
Niels boar
proposed that electrons move around the nucleus in specific layers or order. this was modified from Rutherfords idea. this was the biggest scientific discovery in a long time.

JJ thomson
jj thomson discovered that atoms are made of smaller things than the actual atom itself. he did not know what they were his model was known as the rain bun model. and for all of this he went on to win a Nobel peace prize.
