- - - - 1. Mission-driven & Passionate
        
        Mission that was commenced at age of 40, The first 10yrs were the years of great tribulation,torture,suffering & discrimination. Undaunted, Prophet continued his mission with firm faith in Allah
        
        Next 13yrs in Madinah were favorable in which He became undisputed leader. Yet He never gave up his mission & his passion for teaching the message continued until his death such that entire Arabian peninsula was engulfed by His message & teachings
        
        According to Quran, Allah chose Muhammad[PBUH] as his final prophet to make mankind believe in one universal Allah & to guide humanity to the right path by giving glad tidings & warnings
      - 2. Positive & Real
        
        Once he said that visiting a sick person would earn the visitor a place in paradise
        
        "Similarly a person who cares for an orphaned child," He states, "Would be in Paradise with me, like these two fingers."
        
        The Prophet used to bestow utmost care on children, orphans, slaves, the ailing, neighbors & his poor Companions. He observed, "None amongst you believe (truly) till one likes for his neighbor what he likes for himself".
        
        He taught his followers to treat slaves, the weak & the downtrodden with utmost gentleness & love and made it an integral part of worship. Bilal RA, a black African slave, was given such importance by Prophet that his Companions used to address him by the title "O, Our Leader"
        
        Even the makkan Quraish, the archenemies of Islam, in spite of their grave differences with the Prophet, never talked ill of his conduct & character.
        Even Abu Sufyan, the bitterest enemy of the Prophet,had no choice but to speak well of the Prophets character when Roman emperor Heraclius enquired about the character of the Prophet
        
        In administering justice, the prophet made no distinction between believers & non-believers, friends & foes, the high & the low. A woman from an influential tribe was found guilty of theft. In order to safeguard the prestige of the Quraish some prominent people interceded to save her from punishment. The Prophet refused to condone the crime & expressed his displeasure.
        
        Second trait includes the following qualities: "Respectful" , "Caring", "Fair", and "The Positive & Real Teacher" In the days before his prophethood, Muhammad [PBUH] was respectfully called as "Al-Ameen" meaning Trustworthy
        
        The Jews, in spite of their hostility to the Prophet, Were so impressed by his impartiality & sense of justice that they used to bring their cases to him & he decided the cases according to the Jewish laws.
        
        In Fateh Makkah He emphasized with his enemies & asked them what kind of treatment they expected from him. They said that they expected nothing but goodness from him. The Prophet said. "No reproach on you this day, go your way, for you are freed ones
      - 3. A Teacher Leader
        
        His role as a teacher at Makkah was different. At Makkah He started his mission secretly & remained so for quite for some time. He had to lead his companions in a hostile atmosphere. Soon number of followers swelled & the offering of prayers became an open affair. Their personal safety & freedom were under threat nut the Prophets teaching continued. Muhammad [ PBUH] the teacher leader was a great source of strength to his followers. His moral & psychological support to all his followers obliged them to remain his staunch supporters forever.
        
        His role in Madinah was completely different. He became the undisputed leader to the people of Madinah & the emigrants of Makkah. He established mosque which was used not only for the purpose of prayer but also as a center of learning. Teaching by the Prophet became more or less an everyday affair & He motivated his companions & facilities were provided to teach literacy skills
    - - With-it-ness
        
        The Prophet realized that according to the verses revealed to him has has to instruct people in scripture & wisdom. Further He had to guide humanity to the right path by giving glad tidings & warnings hence He felt the right tool to fulfill His mission was deduction.
        
        He started teaching the masses in different places, adopting various strategies. He taught in variety of settings such as private homee,hillocks, & open spaces etc.
        
        "With-it-ness" of an effective teacher indicates his awareness of the cause of education, leading him to think about classroom organization & its management, and the engagement of students.
