Uncontable nouns are Nouns we cannot count . For example We can't count rain.
We can't say: one rain, two rain
Have only one form and there is no plural form
We can't use
"a" ,"an" or a number before the noun

Uncountable nouns are often
Made of smaller parts
Things that are made of smaller parts though are considered as a whole these are normally uncountable.
For example
Sugar, rice, salt, sand, flour, dirt, dust, traffic, grass, spaghetti
Liquids and gases
are normally uncountable: For example
Milk: we can't count milk, you can count the container it is in, for example: two bottles of milk
Some more examples of liquids and gases that are uncountable nouns are: Water, milk, wine, oil, coffee, rain, soup, air, smoke, blood, juice, fog
Materials
Nouns that say what something is made of, these are normally uncountable nouns.
Some examples are
Wood, glass, paper, gold, silver, ice, iron, cotton, wool, steel.
For example, we can't count gold, you could count bars of gold, but you are counting the number of bars and not the gold
Abstrac Ideas are uncontable nouns
They refer to ideas, emotion, and concepts that we can´t see or touch
For example: Love is abstrac
Don't say
Two loves
or five loves
Other examples: Love, Freedom,education, luck, help, beauty
Some food( Cut into small parts)
Some food is uncountable usually it is food that needs to be cut up or eaten in smaller pieces
Examples:
Bread, fish, cheese, chocolate, meat, bacon, food, ham
Be careful
We need to be carefull with the following uncountable nouns as they may be considered countable in other languages.
Some examples are:
Furniture, advice, work, news,information, luggage, money
Countable Nouns
Countable nouns are nouns that we can count
For example, we can count trees: one tree, two trees, three trees, etc
Form
PLURAL : "Trees" is plural
SINGULAR : "Tree" is singular
We can use
A, An or a number before the noun
Examples
An apple
Ten pencils
A watermelon
We can use a singular verb or a plural verb
