SISTEMA DE CONDUCCIÓN CARDIACA
Structures that guarantee the generation and transmission of electrical impulses in the heart.
They are grouped in the form of nodules and bundles; and it can be divided into two segments
Atrioventricular
Sinoauricular
Atrioventricular receives signals from the node
sinoatrial and passes them to the bundle of His.
is divided into the right branch and the left branch
which conduct impulses to the apex of the heart.
The electrical activities of the
heart can be engraved in the shape of
TYPES OF WAVES
The segment P-Q represents the time when signals travel from the sinoatrial node to the atrioventricular node
• The QRS complex marks the activation of the node
atrioventricular and represents the depolarization of the ventricles.
• The wave THAT corresponds to the
depolarization of the interventricular septum
• The R wave is produced
by the depolarization of the
main mass of the ventricles.
• The S wave represents the last stage of ventricular depolarization at the base of the heart.
• The S-T segment reflects the equilibrium or plateau stage
on myocardial action potentials.
• The T wave represents repolarization
just prior to ventricular relaxation or ventricular diastole.
