My dad promises to take care of me and to look over me whenever he can. He promises to make me smile, and to be honest with him always.

Whenever he comes home from work, he is always upbeat and goofy. He dances to songs, makes funny jokes with everyone, and understands when people want to have fun. Whenever I go out somewhere, he demands to know where I am going with who so that he knows that I will be safe.

In every gold day, she would always ask me about my day after algebra class. We would always try to find each other during lunch and listen to what we have to say. Whenever I have a problem or an issue that I have trouble with, JJ is always there to comfort and support me. She empathizes with my situations, and makes me feel valid. Whenever I am absent from class, she is willing to ask if I have any questions about the class or homework.

Ever since meeting Janaviel (JJ) in the first week of freshman year, she has promised to always be a kind, supportive, and caring friend. She promises to be a better listener and always check up on me whenever she can.

Phuong Thy: Best Friend

When I had a problem about one of my friends, Phuong Thy was there to give me advice and cheer me up. She always makes me laugh with her witty remarks and funny noises. Even with all the jokes, she is a reliable friend who checks up on my mental health and empathizes with me in any way that she can. She sacrifices her time to help me with homework, even if it is past her bedtime.

After me and Phuong Thy met in 5th grade, she has promised me to be kind and look at the brighter side of life. She promises to give me advice whenever I need it and to help me out with any homework or life problems that I have. I can always count on her to cheer me up or to be someone that I rely on.

Ever since I've met Yeliel in first grade, she promises to always be there for me and to encourage me to do my best. She promises to protect me whenever there is any danger ahead, and to always be honest with me. No matter what, she will be there for me for every challenge I face in life.

When we are in school together, she would always make sure that I did my homework and understood it. She told me when to block someone's number and how to stand up against people whom I am uncomfortable with. She isn't afraid of telling someone to leave, and listens to my problems whenever I have them.

Hannah: Older Sister

Knowing Hannah for all of my life, she has promised to take care of me and to guide me into becoming a better human being. She promises to help me in any way that she can, and to be a better version of myself.

Whenever I am doing something, whether if its throwing something in the trash can or grabbing a water bottle, she always advises me to look for better options, such as compost bins or reusable water bottles. She posts many eco-friendly posters on the wall to remind me of what better options are there instead of taking the more harmful option.

Jackie: Pet

Ever since my parents adopted Jackie when I was in 1st grade, she has promised to always protect me and to make me smile no matter what. She promises that as long as she is near me, she will always guard me from any danger.

Whenever I appear to be sad, Jackie comes up to me and moves my arms away to lick my face for about 6 seconds. Even on my worst days, Jackie manages to make me smile by just grabbing her squeaky toy and wagging her tail towards me. When I sit down, she always guards me by sitting by my side.

When something was bothering me, my first instinct was to always call Natallie. She was always there to listen to my problems and give out the best advice. After finding out that somebody had been taking advantage of my kindness, she calls them out on their behavior. Even when the things that I tell her are hard to believe, she empathizes with me, and lets me understand myself more.

Natallie and I have known each other ever since kindergarten. She has promised to always look over me, and to protect me whenever there is someone who plans to take advantage of my kindness. She promises to communicate with me whenever they can, even when it is a hard topic. I know that I can always tell her anything at any time.
Mom: Parent

My mom promises to always take care of me, even if it sacrifices most of her time and money. She promises to put myself and my siblings as her main priorities to take care of, and also promises to be a caring and generous mother.

Everyday, she prepares me food and does most of the chores in the house. She makes sure that we are doing well and that we are safe. Even when she can be tired from work, she is willing to stay up just so that the house can be clean. Whenever she sees a homeless or someone in need of help, she always offers to help them in tiny ways, such as giving them money and/or water.

Whenever I need help on anything, Sam is always there for comfort and understanding. She tries her hardest to make me happy by sending me uplifting videos and funny posts. They are willing to buy me gifts just so that she can see me happy. Whenever I need to talk to someone, I know that I can always talk to Sam to cheer me up.

My brother promises to make me laugh and feel comforted whenever he can. He promises to inspire me with his art and to be supportive. He is someone who promises that everything will be okay through silly actions.

Whenever I see my brother, he is always trying to make me laugh by using a high voice and makes fun of whatever I do with witty comments. He does the weirdest and funniest things in front of me, and it makes me feel comforted. He also shows me his art whenever he can.

After me and Sam met in the first week of freshman year in high school, he has promised to make me laugh and be a reliable friend. He promises to help me out with any problems (especially technology), and to always support me.

If I ever have a problem, Sam is the first one who asks about it. He built a phone holder for me with the 3D printer because I did not have one. He bought a Minecraft account for my birthday, and he comforts me whenever I bring up something sensitive. He cheers me on whenever I do something good for myself, and we both check up on each other.
