Even before Christine Ha became a food-world sensation by winning Season 3 of Fox's intense “MasterChef” cooking competition, the Houston native nurtured the dream of running her own restaurant serving highly personal interpretations of classic Vietnamese dishes.

Ha graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration and finance along with MIS from the University of Texas at Austin.She also earned a master's of fine arts in creative fiction and nonfiction from the University of Houston's nationally acclaimed writing program.
Christine is working on a Canadian cooking show called Four Senses, currently in its fourth season
As of June 2018, she was working on her memoir and second cookbook.
