A solid body is one of the four most well-known and observable states of aggregation of matter, also being gas, liquid,solid. It is characterized by resisting changes in shape and volume. Its particles are together and also look correctly arranged.

Matter is anything that occupies space and has mass. All physical objects are composed of matter, and an easily observed property of matter is its state or phase. The classical states of matter are solid, liquid and gas.
Liquid is a state of aggregation of matter in the form of a highly incompressible fluid, which means that its volume is almost constant over a large pressure range, it is the only state with a defined volume, but not a fixed shape.
