The universe begins with darkness and emptiness, but God creates light and life.
Each day God creates a different aspect of the world
On the seventh day, God rested, this is why Sunday is their sacred day of rest.

Big bang theory
The entire universe was inside a bubble that was 1000 times smaller than a pinhead, the universe grew to larger than a galaxy in less than a second

Christian story
The Christian story of the creation of humans is found in the Bible in the book of Genesis. God made Adam use the soil and then he breathed life into him. Adam was given an important job to do as he was given stewardship over God’s creation.
When Adam was sleeping God removed a rib and formed Eve, the first Woman. Adam and Eve were given the Garden to use, but were given strict instructions not to eat from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.
There are some Christians who take this story literally, they are known as Fundamentalists. They believe every human is descended from Adam. However, some Christians look for the deeper meaning and are known as Liberalists. They believe the Bible tells us why it happened, whereas science is concerned with how.
Islam story
God created the first human from Clay and breathed soul into him. God named the first human Adam. God taught Adam all of the Names of all things.
Eve was created from the same clay as Adam.
Eve is often known as the Mother of Humankind.
Evolution
The theory of evolution was made famous by Charles Darwin
He claimed that all life evolved from single-celled organisms
and that living organisms became more complex
